We created a small business finance glossary to help our creators learn all of the financial terms they might come across while running their small businesses. We included the general finance terms creators should know, like sales tax. But we also included terms that are specific to Teachable. So when you see the word “BackOffice” or “affiliates” you know exactly what we mean.

This way, when it comes time to set up your finances, or time to do your quarterly taxes, you’ll have the vocabulary to do so. We want our creators to feel prepared. But remember if there’s something you’re unsure of, or just want a second opinion, it’s always best to consult with a lawyer and an accountant!
